Roof Insulation of the Foxconn Hall

The Komárom site of electronics manufacturing leader Foxconn has been extended with a new production building. Although several alternatives were considered for the thermal insulation of the roof slab, bulk Energocell foam glass granules were finally chosen, as they are easy to incorporate, and provide a walkable surface.

For this application we recommended a compacted layer of 77 cm thickness, incorporated in layers of 30 cm.
