Cover slab filling over an underground garage

The Energocell® foam glass granules were incorporated for thermal insulation and water drainage on the 40-cm high, upper intercostal surface of the underground garage cover slab, over the part under the apartment building, and also the part extending from under it that functions as a traffic area.

The concrete slab was waterproofed after the pouring of the sloping concrete, and then a 30-cm thick foam glass layer was incorporated on a separating geotextile. On this surface washed gravel of 5-mm was spread which was finally covered with no-maintenance turf.
